Life can be filled with stress and pain that can leave us feeling overwhelmed and alone. It can be difficult to find hope that things can change or be okay again. I am dedicated to helping those finding themselves in positions that seem impossible to overcome. I believe an abundant and joy-filled life is available for those who seek to change unhealthy patterns in their lives and improve their relationships.

I have over 20 years experience in corporate management. Juggling the stresses of career and family has allowed me to have a perspective that keeps me grounded and humble. I am passionate about joining with those struggling with juggling career and family, and managing the stresses of both. Life experience has prepared me to join you in your struggle with passion, vision, and purpose.

A No-Nonsense Approach

My no-nonsense approach to counseling showcases sincerity, patience, humor, and straight honest talk that helps guide clients in finding comfort in their own decisions without judgment or ridicule.  Clients leave sessions with valuable information and tools to effectively use in their daily lives.

My wide range of experience includes trauma, parenting, marriage, codependency, addiction, anxiety, depression, anger management, grief, crisis, performance enhancement, men’s issues, and group therapy.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), trained in CBT and group therapy, an EMDRIA trained Level II Certified EMDR trauma therapist, and a Gottman trained marriage therapist.

I also work with young adults and find it rewarding when young people recognize and understand their unlimited potential. I enjoy working with parents in helping them understand their adolescent and resolving family conflict.

Counseling can often be scary.  My hope is that clients can be free of the stigma of counseling and break through the barriers that often stifle healing.  Clients will find comfort in a secure environment that is safe and free of judgement.
